Battleground Starts in 10… 9… Hero Power Episode 291

  • Patch 22.0 Notes: Live 11/30
    • Alterac Valley: Releases Dec 7th
    • Battle for Alterac Event: Earn Honor playing Traditional Hearthstone, Duels and Arena
      • 10 Honor for every game played
      • 10 more Honor for every game won (20 total)
      • 20 more Honor for every game won versus an opponent from the enemy faction (40 total)
      • Gain Ranks to obtain Golden Card Rewards, through Alterac Valley Set Cycle
      • On Jan 11th, a Faction will be victorious, based on total Honor of the Faction. Winning Faction rewards their Factions Leader as a Diamond Card

  • Next Set: Fractured in Alterac Valley
    • 10 New Hero Cards (One for each class, themed as Mercenaries)
    • New Keyword: Honorable Kill – bonus effect when doing exact lethal to a minion
    • Objectives: Spells that have a “Static Effect”, which lasts for 3 turns
    • Choose Your Faction: Choose Alliance or Horde to get a golden version of that faction’s leader (Drek’thar – Horde or Vanndar Stormpike – Alliance)
      • You get that Legendary Minion when you choose
      • After Set Releases, most faction honor gives all players a Diamond Version of that faction’s leader
    • Release Date: Dec 7th
  • Patch 21.8 Notes: Released Nov 16th
    • Choose Your Faction, Claim Your Leader
    • Pre-Purchase: Fractured in Alterac Valley
