Hi, this is Aliensanta. I met Zerotio at Dreamhack and Virsica at Battle & Brew last Saturday. I wanted to leave a comment saying you guys should try the Hunter DK card because out of all of the DK hero powers I think Rexxar is the most interesting. I do confess I’m a major hunter player through thick and thin, still working on the deck atm. But anyway, the reason I enjoy Build-a-Beast is because the discover mechanic for the two beasts has some patterns to it based on what’s available in the pool of cards. It’s a lot of fun trying to estimate what you should choose on the first card to complement the second card using a limited mana pool. And best of all you never run out of minions to play. I use it as a late game card like Savannah Highmane in a midrange deck that tries to take down decks like Druid before they can get rolling. If I have to play DK Rexxar I try to maximize the battlecry effect and end up rolling for taunt minions possibly w/ poisonous (Stubborn Gastropod ftw). It’s still rough and I’m working out the strategy but I’ll keep trying it. I’m breaking even around rank 2, sometimes going to 3 before getting back to 2 again.

    • That is awesome Aliensanta, please keep us apprised of how the deck unfolds, we would love to see a decklist as soon as you have one tuned up. Thanks, Avanties

Glenn! Sup, Bro. I remember you very fondly, you did much better than I did in the Grand Prix. Congrats on that. As for Hunter, I have been doing a lot of experimenting, myself. I tried a true Mid Range style Hunter and found that did not work well. I tuned my Hunter deck to be a bit more control oriented, using Rexxar’s Hero Power to give me constant pressure in the late game, and it worked wonderfully. Still fleshing out the details, but it seems hopeful. If you have a decklist you suggest, please click the “Contact Us” Tab at the top of the page, and send us the decklist and your thoughts. We will try it out and read your message on the show.

      Thank You!
